  4. Because of how much extra time I had to spend there - since they weren't at the venue as agreed upon - I had no time to rest (I was also in my first trimester at the time), it actually sort of ruined my own wedding for me. I really hate hearing about how a place is going to take advantage of me right before I go to my own wedding reception. Terrible people! And they made me look bad in front of my new family. AWFUL.

  Very poor service, welcomed with a poor attitude and unfriendly uninformed staff. Staff member unaware of there own services and did not explain their procedure or services. Staff just tried to book an appointment after misquoting me on a price. As a guy walking in these places, it is a little intimidating and turned out to be an unpleasant experience.

  2. They were supposed to come to the venue to do hair and makeup for 6 people so that we could have pictures taken. They changed their minds and we had to go to their salon. And the makeup didn't hold up in the sun well at all.

  1. Don't bother getting a hair and makeup trial done - It definitely did not look the same on my wedding day- even though I showed them the photos I had on my phone from the trial.

  Thank you for a deep tissue massage! Here in Vaudreuil - Dorion area its the best treatment you'll get, I assure you! Had a 90 minutes deep tissue massage that relieved me from pain in a lower back from my office work 10 hours a day.

  - the wedding planner from the chateau had arranged the timing of the hair and makeup with you- so we didn’t know that you were unaware of the morning ceremony. I was under the impression that it was always going to be done in the afternoon.

  - this was the last of 3 weddings (we also had gotten married earlier in Toronto and Mexico) - and we had great hair and makeup experiences in both other venues. It’s too bad I couldn’t say the same for this one- as it was in my hometown, so was more special to me. This is an honest opinion and not ‘bad mouthing’ as you claim. You would have gotten a great review- had you done better work.

  3. They overcharged us because we were English. We had already negotiated a price for all of the hair and makeup (including the bride). But the makeup artists (assuming that we were all anglophones) spoke to each other in french about how much more they were going to charge. Half of our party was from Quebec and understood every word. They overcharged us over 200$. We had the prices in an email- and the wedding venue spoke to them. We did get some of it refunded.

  Chateau Vaudreuil recommended this salon to do hair and makeup for my wedding in June 2015. And it was a terrible decision.

  Unbelievable massage I've got here! What a treatment! What a relaxation! Really felt my blood hot and all muscles soft and flexible. And had a real relaxation of my mind! Unforgettable experience! I would recommend this spa for massages to anyone in the area and even to everyone who has to drive from Montreal, it's really worth it! Definitely coming back for massages and for all other treatments they offer here.
